Why doesn't SDE advertise for this game? It really needs more players
Simple fixes
1. Advertise on youtube through let's play videos
2. Have and advertise events for low level players
3. Start off low level players with more points/creds
4. Buff the overall exp, i know a lot of people complain that exp rate stinks
5. Advertise on websites for cheap $

I really wouldn't recommend this game to anyone... It's a great game for sure. I love it. But it's a fact that the grind to get a BB4 is simply too arduous for any new player. Not to mention the fact that getting a BV crew without paying takes way too much time. We, the players that are still playing the game, are the elite few who are passionate enough to grind it out. And then of course... there are the crashes and desyncs.

it takes 1 week to get a BB4 now. If you really want it badly. It use to take a good 3-5Months to get a BB4 it took me 6Months to get my first BB4. And Got my first BB5 2 Months after. TRUST ME. You guys have it so easy, with all this shared exp half of you people don't do crap in game to deserve exp. I say take away shared exp maybe it might motivate you MIDGETS to work harder.

Bro... no need for name calling. Trust me when i say I KNOW it used to be worse. 3-5 months to get a BB4? Try 3-5 to months to get a CA or BB1.
1 week to get a BB4? sure... if you play the whole day every day. Shit... if you're that hardcore, you'll go far in any game really. But it's not about the "length" per say... its more about the journey. If it takes 3-5 months to get a BB4, BUT I get to fight against other ships my own level and tier, I'd gladly do it. Hell remove the shared xp if that were the case. Unfortunately, that is NOT the case.

I will not deny NF uniqueness and it does provide a sense of pride for being a talented player. Yet a compromise between access and playability for beginers and the elitism of skilled veterans will need to be achived.

NF can be great if a player can bear hard beating from PvP daily from lv 1.
Back then when first started, forgot the exact time, just 4 nations, Nebraska Server, SS just 3 tier. Few friends got frustated whenever a BVE player in Blitz, they just pound anything with rapid blocked shots PCL.
And yes, some of them retired early Blitz lvl. At later stage my friends stop playing for various reasons, none of them real life reasons, most to play other game. Some bcoz at 120 they never got the chance to do HA or Fleet War. Some got bored playing repeated GB/GB2/WaW mode after collecting several CV6/BB6. Few still back at times just looking around and do some battles.
Now veteran players got Hero and Neutral sailors + overkill small bbs nations. Nowdays I guess a new player will be facing harder challenge from the start compared to my experience.
NF is hardcore repeatedly PvP grinding game. Not for average players.
