  • A simple, but necessary proposition.

I propose that each CV player carries at least 2 fighter pilots as requirement to enter the battle rooms... We're sick and tired of blind CVs.

As you said in your post, I would actually agree to push for making the difference larger between exp with scout and exp without a scout. The maths at the moment might lead to many of the usual suspects thinking "better 5% less exp, but for one support sailor more..."

The incentive to mount a scout and use it should be bigger IMHO.

I normally play BB, but if I had a second, it would be FTW or AA, for all the usual things that BB players hate.

While playing FTW the other day (and this is not unusual) I counted 4 scouts south circling at max level nowhere near the enemy lines. So south had no enemy fighters, but when you try to move your sight giving ftrs to eat other ftrs or bombers in different positions, guess who starts shouting again, lol.

I read a post earlier in this thread about the value of AA, true, but then u get people shouting about your AA laaging their game, even to the point i've been tk'd a few times because I am AA'ing.

I would think that CV players are more patient with attitude than ur regular and ever more popular arrogant BB player.

And,,,,,,,, true, there are also bad cv players, but just to calm things a little, when they get in a BB they are probably bad at that aswell and are your food, be happy with that.

What the game needs is a "PEOPLE FILTER" included with the auto split where, complete ninnies and arrogant game ragers (all the "mr no-friends" out there) are distributed evenly.

Pretty simple.... lol

Actually I agree with this.  Although I never run BW because it puts you at a such a significant disadvantage to assist your team and your vulnerability to being fighter camped erases any advantage.

I also harbor freedom to choose and don't like artifical limits on players' ability to modify their ships and setups.

If we take this a little further and dictate rules to all ships, let's start with Battleships:

ALL SAILORS MUST BE NO MORE THAN 5 LEVELS BELOW THE SHIP LEVEL.

Bridge Operator (must be at level)
Two Gunners
Two AA gunners
At least a minimum of
1 Engineer
1 Repairman
1 Restorer
1 Seaman or Medic
1 Scout
1 Radioman !!

Is this your setup on your Battleship?  I doubt it.

...see how ridiculous this is becoming?

Seaman, Medic, Restorer, Radioman???

AA gunners for ALL nations?

I thought you were more competent than that, ultradog.

Shame on you...

All MN BBs should be automatically kicked after one minute into the game if they did not rush and do damage.

All KM BBs naval gun accuracy reduce by half for each salvo it misses.

All IJN BB can only attack an enemy BB when they are not blind.

All RN BB cannot have more than 5.0 inch of deck armour.

All USN BB must have AA at all time, coz USN BB were supposed to be balanced.

All RM BB naval gun reload speed reduce by 25% for each salvo it misses.

All SN BB are not allowed to exceed 36 knot OH.

All CV should use Fighters everytime? For what? Combat another fighter? Scout map?

I played CV several times and I notice something. Unlike BB, lv and plane tier difference totaly dominant in CV (also in SS), no way in hell (even with tuning items) T3 fts at level pilots can combat T5 fts, tuning items make this difference more noticable, not the other way around. In BBs, lower tier (BB3) still have a chance against higher tier (BB5) in GB rooms.

CV's fts is very level, tier plane and vet number oriented.

What we need is understanding in game. If CV notice he lost advantage on fts immediately tell your teams, so bb's can spread position and safely launch it's scouts b4 fighter camped. If CV play BW, bomb the right ships and the right way. Play smart and always communicate, not just blame/flame another after the fact.

Last word; remove Hosho as a CV class. It's a bonus for opponent team. Perhaps make it as CA class. Getting Hosho as a flag is really bad in GB2, and not a good balance in GB.

good idea but adm in nf never worked in this case, idk why in cv mode they need 1 fts and 2 db and other modes not, rules for cv are awsome. they only think that the problem the ppl left the games is crash but the big problem is human stupidity( at least in my fleet).

maybe more xp with fts and bb need an scout to join too..( after bb4+)

very easy fix. some purists will call it blasphemy but;
Make scouts invincible to Ftrs/Db/Tbs. BBs scout, BBs fight enemy Scouts with their own AA(obviously there will be support ships AAing aswell). CVs fight each others Ftrs and Db/Tbs. If BBs are blind its their own damn fault.  No more years of blame and arguing.

 Oh, and Hi tunned.
