that means its hard to use them on KM ss... implying that even a useless player in a KM ss can still take out an excellent player trying to dc him to death.

And if you're running and DCing subs, then you're relying on other players to kill the ss?  Or just trying to spot the ss so your team can run?  

Do you see the issues with this tactic for, say, close battles or FW/HA battles?

The DC example:

This was only about DC on a BB.

Those DC in thas example are only to buy you more time to run, that the fuse time is kinda long does help in this situation.

DC got a insane splash range and will make it near impossible for the sub to keep chasing you when you gradual lay DC at the direction the sub is comming while you run AWAY from the sub.

It isn't to kill or even damage the sub but both are still possible and you dont need sonar to do this succesfull.

I am aware that most BB's cant hold many DC but TNF should have there "reasons" why that is the case.

I try to capure some footage soon as that will make it more clear how to do it.

About the Vid:

Yes those poor subbies where not the best and it wasn't a good game from me either.

That the BB6 got sunken was his own fault, If he used a 50/50 set up instead of full AA or Reps on his T slots he would be able to safe him self as I did light up the subbies for him while he was still alive.

I seen all your NavyFIELD videos and liked the most too but I think my oyo video's are more impressive as I TB hidden subs. ( not visible in any way) Deny enemy Fps by using COD and TB succesfull while I got chased by FPs.

The video I liked the most from you was "The best I can do" as that one made me giggle that you turned the sound down to hide how you do a realy old trick we subbies used already in 2009/2010 on Bismarck Server.

lol, if the sound wasn't on, it was an accident.  Those were videos shot when I was helping vick make sure the "old trick we subbies used already" which was an exploit...  was fixed. 

Thats the exploit that won the last fleet war.  Once we had on video what was happening, a group of players worked out how it was being done and sent it up the ladder.  It was fixed for the most part in a patch a while back... thus that video being "the best I could do" to make the exploit work post-patch.

Torping submerged subs:  comes with too much risk.  Again, i expect other players to be competent.  That way I do not underestimate players and thus make personal mistakes.  So, if they are submerged, i expect them to crit dive thus wasting my torps.  If they are stupid enough to not crit dive, then they will be no issue at all to kill on the battle line or later when they are scouted by friendly subs in the middle.

All about personal opinions of efficiency.  I'll take making a big bb nervous... killing a low cv, or killing a aswdd/ aa ship ANY day over taking a random shot at a submerged ss.

It isnt a exploit as long you not use a macro to spam the keys for you.

Does blind torp runs arnt random pot shots as it takes a little less then 2.5 seconds to fullly CD and when you do it at close range the sub wont have enougf time. Also a submerged and unspotted sub does not expect it comming either.
