WOW WHAT PLANET DO U HAIL US FROM? THIS IS KM... PROXIMITY TORPS ARE CALLED THAT WAY
BECAUSE THEY EXPLODE WHEN SENSING A METAL OBJECT IN THE P...P...keep up with
me....PROXIMITY. Also i think the other word u were looking for is SPLASH damage as not to
confuse with the property that u do not think exists :)
As for the rest I've read a post on "hitting SS in the nose with torps while charging them"
-good luck with that... the Luftwaffe tried it in WWII against England....dive bombing
radio antennas or as they called it "dropping peas on needles" well a direct hit does the
most damage but u also deal decent amounts with the splash. In fact a good SS
driver...unlike the one who posted my quote...will fire his torps so they explode near the
enemy SS even if they are not KM torps (they run out of fuel)...an incoming sub is like 5
pixels wide and can dodge very easily.

OK i've done some reading on the posts and see that most are demanding more "refinement"

Nice posting and I hope we get to see a SS5 and SS6 soon we could at least use the type XXII

Well, he did say refinement was needed. The guide has some infirmities that can be
corrected. Why not reconstruct the guide to fit the current players?

I do not, however, have a KM submarine. I do have the A/S weapons to make these
subs go down and stay down. Though a T4 will put a crimp in my day with those
german pompoms.

Are you serious Angus, really?

It is not a good guide, more to the point it doesn't explain the KM strengths.

A good guide worthy of a sticky would be a KM version of Pnov's sub sticky in the US
section.
This is little better than most supposed "KM sub guides" but absolutely not worthy
of a sticky.

This guide well refined enough to be eligible for a sticky? Not being a big time sub
driver, my experience and knowledge are limited.

First off I think this was a helpful guide and would've been helpful for me last year
when I tried a SS crew (I since dispanded them to make room for more crew
members) - didn't want to fuss with sale of them...

One question.... would a seaman help with airsupply on a SS? What about reload
torp time?

sooo dissapointed... i just found out my unclassed gunners can't fire torps from the
VIIC... ughhhh

well i guess its a good thing i still have those +12 torp men
