WHO do you think would win in a 1v1 match between Fuso and Ise?

Fuso vs ISE 1 v 1

ISE hands down.

Sacrifice 2 guns for the CV deck.

Use 1 Fighter to keep the Fuso Blind

USe 2 TBDs to herd the Fuso where you want him,

ISE Kills Fuso...Its not a huge problem, it should be quite easy for the ISE. This is
post ONF patch. Pre Patch the Fuso was a tougher boat for the ISE to beat...

Next question: What would win, yamato or yamato?

*Steps into IJN forum for the first time*

Does anyone had the idea of Ise with a pair of FT pilots (with FTs of course) and goes
one on one against a Fuso?

"And if I'm almost sure that in a GB there's more than just scouts flying around. "

Given that the quality of CV play (at least in the southern parts of the map) seems to
have improved lately (o_O), those weird mini-BB rooms don't seem to be happening anymore.
So yeah, there's a lot more than just scouts flying around.

>>Except the fact that the Ise BBCV is worthless in both roles.
CV1 as far as CV goes, if you're sacrificing BB supports that you will need at the
BB2/3 stage...
BB1.5 as it has the same amount of guns as the kongo, and you'll probably be
microing fighters if you're using the Ise BBCV in both roles.

>So, you sacrifice just 1 scout pilot and 1 rep slot, and you don`t need AA also.
No need microing ftrs all the time if just killing scouts. What is the complaint?

If you're in an Ise, you're either playing it as a CV in a battle where CVs are limited, you're leveling up crew for either a CV or BB, or you're playing for fun.
If you're playing it as a CV in a limited BB/CV battle, and depending on ship limits, a BB3/4/5/6 would be better.
If you're leveling crew, losing 2 guns for extra scout space, or gaining 4 guns and losing quite a bit of plane space would not be worth the effort to grind a BB line.
If you are playing for fun, I personally find the Yamato more fun than the Fuso and Ise, as unless you get the perfect opportunity, there's a large chance you wont make it back to your battle line alive...

And if I'm almost sure that in a GB there's more than just scouts flying around.

lol, guess nobody being so negative about obvious advantages of Ise has either never
played it or doesn't know how to use it properly.

One more thing: "Don't teach your father how to make children"

Higher OH ratio for the Ise is inconsequential, with decent engineers you will OH cap
the Fuso right out of the box and higher OH ratio doesn't increase OH time.

As for countering rushing ships with the 4 back guns, that would only really be a real
advantage when using the 14"L (with decent BB 2 range) in a BB2-3 battle. An
attacking ship won't usually outrange you then.
But in GB and especially when using 16" most ships will outrange you even if they're
attacking, so playing defensively in an IJN BB 2 isn't a good choice there.
In GB your goal is to be as offensive as possible at the right time ( kind of like a
POW, but slower and with more power) and obliterate the other with your firepower
once in range.
Offensively, the 3 front guns of the Fuso have the advantage there.

>As far as I know, both ships use the same engine.

Do you know OH limit depends not only on the engine, but also on the ship body?

>Why would you be running in a BB2? There is almost no ships you can outrange,
even if you run. It is much more beneficial to rush at approate times to do more
damage.

Why are you only thinking about rush? There are far more things you can do than you think,
even in BB1s.
Counterattacking rushing enemy is no wonder one of those.

First of all, it has smaller hitbox than the Fuso.
-----------------------------
Arnt they very similar? to the point the difference is not noticable?

Then, it's got higher OH ratio (you reach speedcap sooner and overheat longer).
-----------------------------
As far as I know, both ships use the same engine.

It's also got 2/4 gun setup, so countering rushing ships is much more efficient.

Don't forget that a BBCV is something unique to this game so far, and if you
had/was planning to get IJN CV - you know which line to choose. There's nothing
better than knowing that you don't need to beg your CVs for help.

Good information generally, if you were playing 2-3 years ago......
