That, without doubt, is the ugliest DD...ever. I honestly don't care about it's stealth ability,
or its advanced FCS. The enemy will run away when they see one of those...because of its
ugliness rather than its lethality.

What was wrong with coventional DD designs?

If I were given the choice, I'd take the Hyuga over one of those "angle boats".

Armor, flight decks and 14 inch guns are just too sexy.

i'm so confused, is that a ss or a dd... enemy died just by seeing this picture... let
alone experience seeing this ship sailing in front of our eyes... LOL

Yeah, I'm guessing no one in the thing cares what it looks like. I'm guessing all they
care about is hitting the enemy while not getting hit. I agree the thing looks like a
half-finished row boat. But who cares? It's the next step.

They're ugly because the weapons are disproportionate to their size. Monitor's were
known to be ugly in their day and every day after.

Bismarck/Tirpitz are probably the most beautiful warships in my opinion. Possibly due to
their symmetry proportions. Not to mention, I find the cigar shaped hull to be better
looking that the "teardrop" style of Iowa or Yamato.

Leaderworl, you put up some numbers but still not have said how the Zumwalt is, as
you say, impotent.

Russian? Is the year suddenly 1975? Lol

the near cv is ugly watch the line, need not be a ship designer to see beauty in lines,
origami art is a beautiful, if your mind does not understand the beauty of simplicity is
just your mistake not others, nothing personal.

So the 21 DD is born IMPOTENT like all high +40 lvl snakes, maybe the invisibility is save
the zumwalt class.

Nvm, appears i am still semi-correct about the US Navys DD(X) plans

http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/dd21/

"In November 2005, DD(X) was approved for system development and
demonstration (SDD). In April 2006, the USN announced that the first ship of the
class will be designated DDG 1000 Zumwalt. The second ship will be Michael
Monsoor (DDG 1001)."
