My country's air force open house

thecoon	Some pics pardon Bad quality taken by normal camera My country has one of the highest Military expenditure per capita in the world with 4.9% of our GDp going to the defence budget. with nice planes & sexy stealth ships& all but Is it worth? We are so small some of u may not even know that my country exists... One bomb will doom us all... I doubt even with the most high tech weapons we wld even last 6 days b4 being overwhelmed, run out of water,fuel ammunition, Bases, b4 a carrier from the States arrives. Im just saying.... Anyway enjoy...

whukid	The F 35 won't get very far. It's "hover" mode creates temperatures that melt normal runways. In order for the USMC/USN/USAF to use them, they need to re-pave ALL of the airfields, which didn't exactly make the JCS very happy... The F-22 is totally unnecessary. the USA already controls the world's skies with the planes that are currently in service. Our pilots are top-notch and are totally dominant across all topics concerning the sky. The B-52 is over 50 years old and needs a replacement since the B-2 is already being sentenced to the Junkyards. We have no new tank-busters, no new strategic bombers, no new close air support planes, and no new helicopters for our ground troops. Do you think any of these issues would be addressed? NOPE. Before anyone even starts on China and their stealth fighter, they will never ever attack us because their economy would crap out and send them into a super-depression. It's kindve hard to fight a war with no money...

Savage79	lol the F35. that project is getting scrapped. Its too costly when we can just use the F22.

thecoon	F15/f16 taxi for take off F15 zoom climbs to "intercept" not forgetting our good ol wrk horse chinook. locally built air portable howitzer...

thecoon	The US congress has passed a law not allowing the F22 to be exported. However we are a Security Co-operation Participant of the JSP F35 Programme. Singapore could be buying up to 100 F-35s. Hopefully not though, Id rather money go to healthcare
