  • Any tips for KM H39 ?

Any Do's and Dont's that i should know ? Just looking for helpfull tips that might impact my gameplay since so far 
im really disappointed with KM.

Shoot them from max range. run like a girl if someone is rushing you. That's how KM play like.

In fact if you know how to sling, you can rush a monty.

Just make sure you stepped back when the answering shot rings home.

Dont RUN after one.

Learn to use the lower max angle with the range in tune with your ship movement to optimize your dynamic range, H44 will play much the same, but with a lesser static range advantage.


As Richard said, if something with high firepower is rushing you, dont hesitate to keep it just out of range and pummel it with a few shots.

At level the spread can be a bit random, but once it tighten around 96 and gets much better around 100-105, most ship cannot take more than 2 shot before being in a load of pain.

If you run to steply however, your front guns are going to lose much range compared to your middle axis, and even if the rear one gain a lot, the loss of firepower isnt something you wish for.

In the case you get 1-2 shots in and that you figure the other ship shall be able to get you in range even in full retreat, rush back in.

Quite simply so few people expect it nowadays, you can get that freebie salvo in quite easily and it will miss over your head by a mile. Especially lets say a SY.


Beware of alsace and H44 tough. H44 plays your own game better than you do, and alsace can catch you and doesn't suffer from the long hangtime SY and monty gets rushing.

Thats concerning BB5 and BB4.

For the BB3 and under, use your range to get a first hit in, and finish them off while doing a small step back to avoid incoming salvo, without breaking in an all out run away mode.

don't use 14.96" , play more AA , and do the rest above mentioned

Thanks guys, atm i loose 2 knots of OH if i put AA on, is it worth it ?

ideal AA gun set are using KM40 (5") on larger Tslots and 4.1" (the 55lv one) on smaller Tslots
you will have total 700AA shells each gun (20bind for KM40 and 14bind for 4.1")
better not using all KM40 becoz that will cause uneven shells on each guns and much more heavier than 4.1"

pratice more and soon you will be good with H39 :)
just remember don't get too much focus on AAing :P

(btw what is your current speed?)

Yeah, make sure to stay out of enemy range while AA'ing. But don't run away too far either. Because then it will take you longer to get in range yourself, giving the enemy more time to send new scouts. :P

not bad :)

soon when your engines are high lv enough then you will get back to 39knots (forgot if it can reach 40knots with AA)

Nope, H39 max speed is 39 OH.

Also dont forget to put bulge on, just before you lose 1 knot.
