  • Massive amount of ABing going on.

I cant prove it but it is so damn obvious. Not to mention the massive AA TKing going down. I rarely use fighters now because these idiots will AA my fighters even if there are no scouts around.

watch where SS line up if you want to laugh.  most of the time one team's ss will go N, and the other will go S.  Priceless.  I could point out fleets that are famous for this, but nobody really cares about it anymore.

 

Speaking of SS, you should have been playing while the ss crit dive exploit was still active.  was lolz.  Lucky thats mostly dead now thanks to some players figuring it out and getting it fixed...

i dont fight other SS b/c SS vs SS is stupid

I started a thread in this very forum to gauge interest amongst the community about getting that fixed.  My opinion?  nobody cares.

 

With that being said, even if its stupid, its still abing.

Its not that no one cares its how would they fix it? force SS to come together like magnets?

I agree ppl who go out of their way to fight each other is stupid, but you also have to remember that a SS can change a battle and most SS drivers are not good at 1 vs 1 SS battles so they try to avoid it going for the big targets, remember SS were created to sink surface vessels they really were not designed to fight each other or was that their primary role

But ill agree that if you are in a SS at least try to sink the other SS or at least light him up so HH can do it for ya

Technically then going north when you know a BAMF BB player went south is ABing...

Or going south when all the enemy CVs go north is ABing...(which these days is insanely rare)

In essence, SS xp neds to be (something on the order of) trippled overall so that it falls in line with the xp bb get (would be easy to compile the data and get an exact figure).  Further, ANY ship that hits an SS needs to get a HUGE xp bonus, like double.  This would encourage asw play allowing more ships to carry AA cannons again rather than HH.  LAST but not least, high level asw/AA supporrt ships (say, lvl 70-80 DD class) need to be introduced to make grinding a sub less of a PITA.

 

So, you'd have CV's doing their job again due to more aa in game.  You'd have BB's doing their thing working the line and aaing, you'd have MORE subs per-game due to the better xp... and they would be FIGHTING for the chance to play vs eachother for the xp bonus, AND you'd have a re-birth of the support role in the way of ASW/AA ships of high lvl.

 

It would be SO EASY to do all this.  Just a matter of the community getting behind it.

Subs not fighting Subs....

Sure some people dont like to play sub vs sub but to call that Abing is not right when all they do is go north when there is a enemy sub south at the start at the battle.

Xp isnt the isue here because it doesnt matter much what you sink as long as you win the game.

More then 30k Xp you will never get regardless of what you sink.  (gold account No Event)

What I do see is BB's not helping there friendly subs by shooting those pesky ASW ships due low XP gain.

Just return all torpedo exp (to include TBs) back to EANRED exp.
