ok since the patch playing the game for me on win 7 is about a joke....it plays for 30 min then crashes in lobby. Ok here is what I have done...

all exes for the game are in the dep list. visual themes are turned off and game is running with out compatibility...and it hangs and crashes.

Now I have tried ever compatiblility and it either will not load crashes on load or crashes on the splash load and never shows the sd enternet sign

so now my question is will there ever be proper support for windows 7 64bit or some sort of fix...or is there some kind of work around cause at this point Im not
wanting to spend more money....btw a wrap around feature to the forums would be nice

Since you are running the x64 version where is the game installed?
and when you say lobby are you getting logged into the game to the shipyard?

in programs, not program x86......and when I say lobby I mean join a room and waiting for more to join ....just had the freeze trying to get into a lobby. unable to break out of it with out a taskmanager.

uggg game crashes every other match now or not even....its getting worse and worse....Me thinks this smells like a massive memory leak....though when I looked at it in task manager it was eating up over a gig

Most likely not a mem leak, so you are getting the common crash on enter or in the waiting stage.
Glad you get in game at least.

So what compatibility settings are you using and if you do have a reason to reinstall next time put it in
the Program Files (x86) folder as that is the proper one for the game

Mine is in "Program Files" and there is indeed a memory leak in NF. The memory leak has been known about for quite some time.

V2 In his case its not a memory leak, would not make sense as it happens too fast.
Also I am not sure about the Memory leak I have played for 6 hours and the Memory does not alter that much and
I dont get the game crash from it. Was there is the Past ... could be.

As for the File install location the Proper location for a 32 bit program to be installed at is the (x86) folder. however the game installer was compiled to a default Program files.

Does it matter , I cant say but enough have reinstalled into the proper one and see less crashes for me to tell
anyone using an 64 Bit O/S to at the next reinstall to place it properly in the (x86) folder.

The battle room freeze is caused by having CPU affinity set to multiple cores, which is the default setting. If you set navyfield.exe to run on CPU0 only, through the taskmanager, you will no longer get the battle room freeze. The reason why setting compatibility on navyfield launcher.exe stops the battle room crash is because it will automatically set the affinity to CPU0 for you. But setting affinity to one CPU core will cause unbearable stutter (Low FPS no matter what your spec are it seems) from planes and flak. To remove this stutter you need to set "Disable Visual Themes" and "Disable Desktop Composition" just like in V2CxBongRipz's screen shot.

I use the same settings as v2c but there still are some issues. I get a massive performance hit when hedgehogs and pompoms hit the water. There is also a memory leak caused by tabbing out (tab out a lot and watch the memory usage in task manager). This memory leak causes a lot of seemingly random lag that is pretty annoying. If you don't tab out you won't get any lag.

My specs in case you want to know.
OS: W7 64
CPU: C2Q9550
GPU: GTX 275
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333
