Scout- normal but shave off a lot of rookies to reduce weight
Gunners-Elite ACC classed reload, Max vets, reduce weight until RLD cap is just barely reached
Supports-Normal classed and max vetted
4 skeleton sailors-one being an additional scout with no sailors on it

I haven't done the math but I think you would have a crew with similar weight, more OH time and near rep cap (depending on layout), and it wouldn't be such a pain in the ass to lvl

richard, your the only 1 trying to bring low base crappy sailors into this argument to prove your point (which has no relevance to this thread ). This is a discussion of setups to match hanyi's powerleveled setup. He is using +12/+13 sailors, yet you are saying they cant use +12 or elites for some reason ? Plenty people have +12 and +13 sailors, mine included, i can use tomfoolery's / killerparots / kinluus setups if i wanted to, all i need are the placeholder sailors and more vets, and then i have a 12" armor QV crew with 1 more minute of OH than hanyis setup.

i realize you are infatuated with his setup, yet 3 people have shown alternatives without powerleveling, they are all viable, yet you keep arguing against that, as if the only way to get 12" armor is to powerlevel or you have an in-efficient crew. Face it you were wrong that you cant strip 3900 crew from UK and reach rep cap. You were wrong that you cant strip 300 rookies off a gunner. You were even wrong in that you cant strip 300 rookies off a +9 base accuracy reload gunner. Hence why i said "you dont know what your talking about" How about you go do the math ... so you actually have a clue ?

regarding the gunners in T slots ... why would you want 1 rookie torpedo bombers, or any other sailor for that matter, over 1 rookie gunners ? gunners give you the choice to use HH if you wanted to, and it doesnt really matter either way, they are placeholders so you can use a bb6 o_O... well looks like kinluu or 1 of your other friends are gonna have to help you out again ^_^

Im doing this with my crew because i want 12 inch armor !

i have at the moment
1 x 11 repair 12 engine
5 x 10 repair 12 engine
1 x 9 repair 12 engine <<< i got lazy :(
2 x 13/11 reload gunners
3 x 13 repairers
1 x scout (it has 80 vets)

i also have
1 x lvl115 FP (120 vets 200?experts)

so im thinking of powerlvling 2 sailors for the t slots ?
And what can 12 inch deck bounce ? :o wondering if it can bounce amagi shells ?

Ok, I admit I failed and forgot to put and/or.
However, that doesn't changing the fact that by removing those so called 3900 rookies, or even replacing the supports or by skeleton sailors, that OH times isn't affected.
I still stand right.


2- Regarding hanyi set up.
Hanyi supports are not ellite? They are not vet capped or all? They didn't need about "gimping" as you called.
Few set up proposed by the other people are vet capped. Therefore his set up is irrevelent ? If you really insist the fact that they use all vet cap and/or ellites according to some viable set up.
Then take hanyi sailors, vet cap them and make them ellites, Now we're talking about which is more efficient.


3- I don't know. But you should check your math at that "school you" post first. ;)

You were insisting about special AW set up few minutes ago, now you want to insist about using HH?
