  • Wrath of Spring, 6v6 BB1-3 Tournament *Results Posted*

Hello Navyfield Community,

The Event Team will be hosting an open invitation 6v6 competitive tournament during the months of March and April. We welcome all players to form teams and participate in this tournament. You may form teams with any players, regardless of the fleets that they are a member of.

Teams will be seeded randomly into a single-elimination style bracket and will battle against other teams in order to determine which team rules the ocean.

Team captains please email me your team name and roster at [email protected]. Sign-ups will close on March 5th 23:59 PST (Server Time).

We will be live-streaming the team seedings on Wednesday, March 8 and the recording will be available for any players who missed it.

The following posts will contain the rules, teams, and bracket.

Prize details:

Team MF/Hawk, as your team came in first place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes:

  • 1st Place: 300 Olives per person and 100 medals (or) Event Ship(s) totaling 800 medals.

Kung Fu Rabbit, as your team came in second place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes:
  • 2nd Place: 200 Olives per person and 50 medals (or) Event ships(s) totaling 400 medals.
 

Finally, Super Noobs, as your team came in third place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes: 
  • 3rd Place: 100 Olives per person and 25 medals (or) DD-MP.

Guys, 16 teams -> 8 battles
Each battle: 10 mins preparation + 20 mins battle itself
Each battle requires 4 judges, so I pretty hesitant TNF might handle more than 1 battle at once.
In total it is going to take ~4h.
+1 hour due to uncertainty about which PST time is used.

So shall I say to my team "we MIGHT have battle this Sunday-Monday night at random time from 22:00 till 3:00. However still nobody guarantees if there is going to be any battle at all"?

Hey Andrey,

I apologize for the delay with the schedule, I did not notice the discrepancy between the server time and actual PST.
Most of the delay for the schedule was due to the hope of receiving messages from teams earlier in the week in the off chance that they scheduled a seperate match time.

You are correct in the assumption that due to the referee requirements for matches and the number of event team members that we will not be able to host all of the matches for the first round over a period of one sunday, without unreasonable delay for teams who live in other time zones. We will not be attempting to stuff all of the round 1 matches into the first sunday.

This Sunday's Schedule (3/19/2017) will be as follows:

Sunday 11:30 Server Time (12:30PST)

Sunday 12:00 Server Time (1:00PST)

I am the captain of wow, 12 PM Pacific time is we at 4 a.m. on Monday, our team also sleep, having to work on Monday, can't play.

Its hard to play with this latency everytime, at least for me I have DC  and crash every 3 or 5 battles. Danger Latinos.
