If your gonna do any do Adware. Avast doesn't let you know but it has a time limit and
after awhile it just stops working and then they spam you with "Buy it know" bullshit.

1) after you have managed to get a decent malware/spyware removal tool BE SURE TO UNPLUG
your connection. Trojans that copy themselves 95% of the time have a link they need to
upload from. Now if the "hackers" have gotten any smarter then they will actually have
folders that the trojans feed off of. At that point you need someone with real experience
in computers to manually take it off, like a senior programmer.

2) After you have managed to clean your system make sure you defrag it. Most of the time
these programs move all sorts of crap around. So you'll wanna do that after your done with
it the clean up.

3) Reconnect your connection and give the system about 3 days of connection time. If you
notice the trojan again then you REALLY need professional help or a reformat.

Anyway thats the best I can do over the web. If I was actually there I could get rid of
it. Best of luck mate and see you on the forums in the future.

bore bore bore bore

www.malwarebytes.org this is pretty good at cleaning your system

spybot search and destroy is also really good get it from this link
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/

running these 2 programs one every few days will keep you safe.
if you download and update and run both those programs you will most likely be fine and
wont need to re install.
in saying that tho you should reinstall your operating system every 6 to 12 months
depending on usage

i also sudjest a good antivirus

im using kaspersky and after testing about 10 it was the easiest to use and has some real
good protection, also if you search antivirus review you will see it is near top of the
list each time.

never ever and i mean never install anything do do with nortons.

"A virus is perfectly harmless as a file sitting on your computer. You can have a
million viruses on your comp and it'll be fine long as they aren't actually being runned
by your comp. So do you still have viruses on your comp, probably. Are they harmful
no probably not for the time being. Course the best thing to do is prevent getting
them in the first place, whether from your browser or opening shady files. "

best to reformat then have dormant code setting there ready to be touched off by
something or somebody doing random clicking...

my live in ex gfs computer got this, i had to reboot in safe mode, run spybot s&d and
remove the trojans that ended up on there... her sister isnt very internet savvy but
then again she (the ex) does like pr0n too much...

1. reboot (hard boot or start->shutdown)
2. spam your safemode key (it was f11 for the compaq o_0)
3. run spybot s&d (if you cant get it installed install to jump drive)
4. remove all issues
5. reboot
6. repeat s&d
7. use virus protection (i dont personally on my laptop or gaming rig)

New version of Avast Free Edition and Zonealarm Free Firewall will be enough to stop this...
