This is to be used only to suggest changes.

There have been many, many, omg MANY Sub suggestion threads and topics, so here is the idea.

You guys all pick some of the concepts, ideas buffs nerfs etc from all the other threads
and add them here.

While you are welcome to discuss why a change would or would not work, keep it to a
logical and clear discussion.

No - "you are only a BB whinner"
No - "You are bias sub driver" in fact any insults will have their post hidden

Make your point - Make it clearly, make it once - anything else will be thermonuked as
will all other sub threads from here on in really.

Tell SDE what you want to see from Subs and sub play with BB play etc for the future

I'll keep checking in and see what you guys have come up with, there is some brilliant
ideas I have read thus far and look forward to them all in one thread and see where it
progresses, hopefully to a positive conclusion where, at least most of the community will
be happy with the changes (if any)

anways, here is my suggestions quoted from Yuno's Announcement 1 page 9 -.-

KM - ther overpowered, they need re-adujstment's. Lower ther dmg with proximity
torpedos by 30%-50%(this only applys if torps explode NEXT to ship or goes true it
and explodes on other side(aka usual miss), direct shots woulden't be affected. All
so make all tier subs carry 4 front and 1 back tube. All so turning force for KM subs is
to high lower it. Incrise ther HITBOX size.

IJN - remove 2 front tubes from T4 sub and ADD them to back tubes(atm they have
0), a sub with no back tubes is FOOD in sub warfare(the most fun part for me in
sub). Lower the dud rate by 10%. Turning force is slow, they move like a giant
tankers, incrise it.

UK - make ther ALL tier subs carry ONLY 4 front and 2 back tubes, to compansate
add more space for torps, example: insted of 36 torps give them 46..ect.
reduce dud rate by 5%.

US - Make all US carry 5 front and 1 back tubes. Reduce ther dud rate by 10%.

MN - Make all of ther subs carry 5 front and 1 back tube. (not sure about torp dmg)
if ther torp dmg is close to IJN dmg...then reduce it by 10%
if ther torp dmg is lower then IJN...leave it as it is.

ALL NATIONS SUB's
Reduce ther ability to take dmg, a ship wich is 20 lvl's or more higher then thet tier
sub shouled be able to CRIPPLE IT in 1 shot from point blank range.
CAP all sub's speed to 35 OH
CAP all sub's dived OH to 25 OH
CAP all sub's SD to 450(half of max wich is 900)
Incrise AIR by 30%
REMOVE all HE shell wich can dmg any ship above DD lvl, make HE only affective
agents FF and DD's.Give HE shells for FF and DD to all nation subs, not just KM.
Reduce splash dmg by 20%

2.) re-balance the ASW=Anti Sub Warfare

REDUCE dmg done by DC and BOTH HH's by 30%
REDUCE the dmg done to surface ships by BOTH HH's for additional 20%
REDUCE the cost for NORMAL HH's
Incrise the Premium HH's trigger by 0,5s-1s(make it same as normal)

free3play pretty much nailed it but maybe reduce HH/DC damage a little as well to
give them more of a chance while underwater.


That or the idea that somone came up with in another thread about battary but that
maybe out of SDE coding abillties.

Ok, my thoughts,

SS1-2 Buff Air, after the Latest patch (HE increased damage) it hurts people trying to
gring in a sub, since they only go ~ 20 knts for a ss1 on the surface, and ~ 25 knts on
the surface for a SS2, its almost impossible to get anywhere wih having to dive earlier now.

New SS speed cap, bring it down to 35 knts, OH on surface. That gives a new Submerged OH
of 30 knts, enough to catch a BB that is not OH-ing.

Reduce Number of Torpedoes, bring it down to 2 full salvo's + 1/2 a salvo +3 (4 for US and
UK to help increase the bonus' of the the Ally Subs, as the Axis are a lot more powerful.)

IE. IJN SS4, gets 16+4+3=23 torpedoes, instead of 39, meaning you can no longer just spray
torpedoes to kill, you have to be more conservative.

Edit2: Increase the Reload time for Torpedoes, in the IJN ss4 you can almost fire
constantly all of the torps, on gradual with less than 1 second in-between each torpedo.

Thats all for now.

Edit- RSX reminded me,

Reduce the damage from HHs and DC, increase the reload time of DCs
to 5 seconds.
