Crit dive time used to be very short...so short firing torps was difficult during the transition.
To make it easier to sink subs with HH and DC, the crit dive was lengthed to its present time. During that transition time subs can manuever and fire torps, further, HH and DC will damage the sub.

that is a lie, he warned the guy when he was gonna fire, and that is a KM sub, it has fastest diving in the game, that is impossible in any other sub.

You must be watching the average SS player who doesnt even crit when hes got DCs on his head with plenty of time to dive. Ive seen people evade every HH thrown at them and then some. And richards video just goes to show you how easy it is to do it. And for the record he wasnt telling him after the first few shots.

You must be watching the average SS player who doesnt even crit when hes got DCs on his head with plenty of time to dive. Ive seen people evade every HH thrown at them and then some. i have not been watching the average SS player, i play sub myself. it is impossible in a US Gato to avoid PHH at 0 distance

If you can't press the crit dive button, of course. But if you can, its fairly easy to do so. Maybe you should watch the video, you may actually improve your sub play by watching it!

Yeah, its VERY easy to crit dive when the guy tells you before he fires so you have time to make it to crit depth.
Unhappily, that does not happen in actual gameplay, which makes that test completely useless.
