  • 2017 Navyfield open for suggestions~!

Merry Christmas everyone! 

At this great season, it's time to plan for the next year. TeamNF is now open for constructive suggestions that will help Navyfield to provide us fun for another 10 years. Our developers are very busy, as you know Navyfield mobile is coming out soon, so we have priorities. But we will treasure all your ideas, especially ideas in promoting Navyfield!  

A promotion campaign will be held soon, we are still drafting more details about funding and contents.  If you are able to help in any ways(ie Graphic design, video, funding, game promotion, magazine etc) You are more than welcome to join and help!  Leave your opinions below or reach me at  [email protected]    ^_^  (My email no longer accept unban/restore request for certain reasons,please send ticket with new account if you can't access your original one)  

For long term NF supporters, if you encounter problem in accessing your account or you want to justify a previous ban, please send a ticket and we will review case by case.

Any advertising would be good, also maybe an incentive program. like free premium if someone names you as a sponsor? It's a great game and I have been playing since BETA, I would play more if there was more people and I must admit I still like the events where you can win stuff if you play games. Also getting rid of the multiple accts ban might bring back some of the older players.

what about an explicit guide about what experts vets rookies make on each sailors because new players need it

better base on yellow sailors now days base 11 and 12 are not doing anything vs súper elites hero santa nfx sailors and lots of people havnt that much money for spend in experts or they dont know how to do it

we need teach all themcy

hello everyone,im returning.

and i have some suggestions want to share.

1.There is no denying that we have only a small number of players.so add a "how many active players online now?" function.Let us know if there are enough people to open a GB game.

2.if players less to open a game. could consider open exp and expert gain of mission room? atlest we can spam our time in mission room and get some award.but not waiting like a idiot.

3.consider improving the CA/CL model to find more fun like the early NF games. For example, weaken  the sailors repair, hit and loading ability,disallow to use event/prem ships, make the battle more chaos and more interesting. Better able to reflect the tactical level rather than using the level or event ships to crush others. also you need raise game award to balance crew lower exp on CA ships.

4.make 'random' a default map setting for more fun.

Ref. leveling. Yes - there is a balance on how easy it is to level up / gain XP etc.

 

In order to give starters a head start create a new CL/CA medium ship which comes with some GOOD sailors already on board in fixed positions and some open slots which will gain XP/level up the usual way, but with XP as if the ship is at that level of the sailor (so to keep XP gain at maximum for that level - like that the ship levels up with the sailors).

Maybe 50% fixed and 50% sailors "leveling up" and that the "in transit" sailors do not count in terms of ship performance.

 

Result would be that such a ship is not handicapped with low capability sailors and has a better chance to survive eaven in GB. Some tweak (CA with ASW, buff in AA, slight increase in range to BB1 level) so that you survive longer. If you want to value AA skills than players should be able to switch the buff of and enjoy extra XP.

Maybe some dropped boxes with usefull stuff just for these ships.

I know this is not old style but it should give newcomers and old hands a more uniform plattform, the game experience and not sailor skill level is the main deciding factor till maybe level 60 or so. Above 60 the more traditional rules would apply, also - see all the other comments which are helpfull.

what about to modify the bulge on ships? because all TBs and SS's can kill everything without skills.. we need get stronger bulge..

 what about more slots on BB1 and lower?? its hard to get a bb1 with example 5 slot for level up!

I am not being a pesimist here. Just realistic.......

We all know there are problems here. Lots of good ideas abound. One of the most Daunting aspect to new players is the rate of experience gained, credits, and points attainment. Then add in the fact that you must add and level more sailors as the ship support requiements grow. NF has already said they dont think the XP gain is too long as we are supposed to Enjoy the long grinds as they are fun. Quoted from their Olivelab Facebook page.

"Olivelab (Navy Field) Hi, game is supposed to be a long term fun instead of hit the max level within a week. Furthermore there are many events to boost up the training speed. Thank you. "

Here are some facts:

Rougly 52,000,000 XP to level 120 and you need 14 sailors to do this but 115 guys will work for most slots. You know the BB6/CV6 requirements.

You will roughly need an additional 15 million XP to hit 125. So roughly 67 million XP to max the game out.

Add in that you have to spend extra games to level the guys that are not at your ship level because the lack of support slots on earlier ships.

Then you will need 50,000,000 million credits. 20,000,000 points for each BB6/CV6. SDE/They say you can do this in less than one month. Sure if you have an event like the 10 year anniversary of 2015. So some where in the likely hood of 1500 to 2000 games and if you are going the BB line. You wont have the points or credits to do it. Expecially if you are rolling for Vets. Do the math before you post please. 4 games an hour. Less than 50% win rate. Lower tiers dont get max XP. Assume 40,000 average a game. Botton line is only a select few can and will play everyday 8 hours + a day to attain a BB6/CV6

Unbanning and Reopening IPs, Using Facebook to advertise. They all help but people will come back to the same thing. Missing accounts. Lag. Disconnects. LONG grinds. Lack of Credits/points. Malfunctioning HQ. Massive Crew Death. ETC ETC ETC.

I am sure I missed some Pros and Cons to what I said.  We all get the point. The Grind IS long and hard and not rewarding enough. Especially for new or returning players with missing crews.

Nothing has changed except:

Unbanning all the IPs they banned over the years. 
NF was bought out and the new company wants to make money.
You can post in the forums without fear of banning (for now).

Other than that. Its business as usual or lack thereof.

As the above post stated, using bots in low level game modes similar to those in missions (or even in blizz) that provide some exp may help players start new game rooms, instead of waiting for 10 min even without starting, seems like an idea for low level players (e.g., level < 25).

Hey vinnson,

i would be glad to help advertise about the game in FB or in other places... i too belive that blits and skirmish are very important becouse for low lvls GBS turn OP for them.

i also think it should end the massive multiple bans.

Also as i read a few replies ago it would be a good idea to win exp from missions in case there is not enough people playing or encourgh people to test their skills doing hard missions but with high prices like exp, money, points, etc.. soo the game wount be soo monotonus...
maybe u could also creat missions like HA but where u fight the computer no necesarly agains other fleets to be hable to train the fleet abilities in battle and team work.

Also i belive olives are to expensive maybe a 20% lower price would help a little bit.

and trying to do events that encourgh people to play, not buy stuff.

New GM is good news for the game. Communcation with players must be better, and why not send a mail to all members about the chance to unban their account. We also need mail about new events. I also agree that that game is so slow to lvl up. It took me 8 years to get a BB6 and its impossible for me to get att EBB7. Its to much money for a ship. But i understand that the game need money and mayby we could have more PBB ships at higher lvl than 65.  



There is so much that can be done. New ships. Heck. I mentioned this before. A new Nation would work. Make a Neutral Nation !!!!!!! Everything is right there. Just need more ships. How cool and easy would that be?

Give extra support slots to lesser ships as well. Nerf the repair and engy rates a little so they dont have an early advantage or just maybe let them have the extra support slots. Then the leveling will be easier crew numbers wise. New Ships that can compete but not dominate. Like the early RM CA and BBs with range. Just nerf the spread and damage a bit . Let them hit us. Jeez. 

I couldnt imagine going into World or Tanks. World of Waships. War Thunder Tanks and planes. Entering battle in a LOL Tractor or MS1 or Hermlin or Bi Plane etc and face a Tier 10 BB or Tank or Jet. Holy crap.
