  • 2017 Navyfield open for suggestions~!

    12. 25. 2016 20:43

Merry Christmas everyone!

At this great season, it's time to plan for the next year. TeamNF is now open for constructive suggestions that will help Navyfield to provide us fun for another 10 years. Our developers are very busy, as you know Navyfield mobile is coming out soon, so we have priorities. But we will treasure all your ideas, especially ideas in promoting Navyfield!

A promotion campaign will be held soon, we are still drafting more details about funding and contents.  If you are able to help in any ways(ie Graphic design, video, funding, game promotion, magazine etc) You are more than welcome to join and help!  Leave your opinions below or reach me at  [email protected]    ^_^  (My email no longer accept unban/restore request for certain reasons, please send ticket with new account if you can't access your original one)

For long term NF supporters, if you encounter problem in accessing your account or you want to justify a previous ban, please send a ticket and we will review case by case.

Vinnson

None of the following is to offend ...

I think TNF ( unsure how many active now ) need to be more active within the game , I know they have real life things that come 1st , I was TNF on NFEU and understand the amount of work needed  , We had a TeamSpeak server running for players to join with little problems and questions . Also there was lots of free space for Fleets to have their TS on the same server This helped alot to gain respect from players , I myself made lots of new freinds within the game making a better relationship between players and moderators .
More in game events like SINK THE BEAST / TNF V ALL for better prizes would be good ( most have to much credits now anyway ).

The Events are good when running and get players online but still more needed to gain players back ..

You are welcome to apply for TNF if you can afford the time and duty needed to help players. We will form an event team which is outside of TNF too to help held mini events too.

Just for a couple of starters:

1) XP is too easy these days, encourage learning the game and increased skills for more XP. I remeber in the beginning half of the game play for this game was reading.

2) Fleet system is key to keeping comadarie and active players. For ex: Imagine fleet events a couple of times per week or abbreviated HA's during the week

3) Training modes and an "Academy". Let a council of experienced fleet leaders participate with TNF team and Dev's to create a learning mod based on player based experience.

4) Re-Vamp HA different Maps

5) Invest in BRAND:

Client acquisition, retention, loyalty and Organic growth from Advocacy

All in all, Glad to see this

1. Yes this game need some patient to learn at the start, I remember I spent lots of time spectate those who I consider as good players after I sunk back in 2004. Then I develop tactics and playing style in my mind.

2. I agree bonding is important and fleet is the key element in this game or every multiplayer online game. So I invite all fleet leaders to encourage their members be active again.

3. Good idea, I have write this down and keep it in mind

4. HA will be fixed after other major issues fixed to provide more variety and fun

5. Due to limited budget, not sure this can be done very soon. I am even planning to promote NF out of my own pocket, but will bargain with SDE and see how it goes.

thank you

Thanks. I know medals are not easy to get and I feel it. We will review olives and medals store soon. But it will be SDE business decision.

Need more ideas on this, I thought about how to improve Blitzkrieg and Skirmish for long time. I understand it's painful for new players to survive in GB right now and just sit there leech for xp will take away all the fun after few hours for them.

Need more IDEAS ON BLITZKRIEG!  :)

This.

As we all know, the learning curve for new players is very high. Many of them figure out late in the game (for example at lvl 40) that they have chosen crappy crew aso.

Few suggestions to fix this.

1.) Make training missions mandatory (at least first few) and let the new player get a lot of creds and points for them, so that it will seem worth it.

2.) New player must get enough points to be able to class its crew the corret way the first time he starts playing. Increase the number of points on a freshly made new account.

3.) Make Blitzkrieg mode up to lvl 60 again and increase exp gain to more than that of GB. This will ensure new palyers play the game without the frustration of beeing sunk all the time by BBs. Now they get the feeling they can't contribute to the game in a small ship, so they are not having fun. I am sure many quit at this stage. Also in blitzkrieg they can develope the skills they need in GB.

4.) This game urgently needs promotion. My suggestion is, that you contact the administrators of all major naval WW2 forums and sites, which have our target population. They need to inform their members about the existance of this game. Also throw in a cookie for newcomers in term of a small symbolic gift (can be olives, or items, such as smoke bombs for example).

Regards. :)

1 & 2. I agree that current training mission is not attractive. If someone can make a detail go through guide on how to make a set of good crew for new players, we will be appreciated. Increase the amount of credits and points a freshly new account get will result in few problems. Some people will create lots of accounts to benefit their main account. Then we will have to raise the current trade limitation from 300k to maybe 1 million? That sounds unreal. So we need to think of a better solution.

3. Agree and we will improve Blitzkrieg

4. Very good idea, you have the list of those websites? Feel free to pm/email me

Some good points have been made here regarding credit and point earning for new players. having to delay class your crew and not being able to afford your next ship is frustrating and discouraging for sure. The learning curve for a beginer is hard enough without having the tools to do it properly. I hit a point right before retail where I simply stopped playing and started rolling for +12 neuts to sell to finance my crew growth and afford my next ship. Rolled sailors have little to no value in the game today so even this is not an option.

Blitz is a nice protected step for low to mid level players, however the mini map(Hobbit) I believe does not allow for the skills to develop to move up to GB and beyond. It becomes simply a torp and slug fest. Playing modes such as this teach some players to rush...get a hit...leach shared XP :( This are not the type of player that stick's around and play the game for years to come in my opinion. Maybe shared XP should be better balanced with more personal attack in mind for all shared XP modes.

BB6 being allowed in GB is a bit much l...sort of like if you allowed BB3's in Blitz rooms to farm the low level BB1/CA/CL. BB5 and below are fairly well balanced and can be battled by a 1 tier lower ship successfuly using skill.

Bring skirmish back without the level cap and only allow CA-BB3, CV1-3, No subs of course without FF/DD/CL to defend against them. Some of my most enjoyable play has been in these level of ships, and even with high level crew they are not overly dominant.

Yeah I remember when I had to roll 12s and sell for 500k each for credits. And Blitzkrieg was enjoyable and relaxing. Step 2 after promoting NF will be rework on Blitzkrieg and Skirmish mode.

Greetings to all the players of the marine field navy really ... My navy's concern is easy and simple 1) the lag problem at all times open some solution for that ??? 2) the problem of the HQ that in most it takes up to 1 hour to see the sailor of ayi ... 3) the true trade system problem that is equal to or worse than the HQ 3) promote more navy and really the momentum in battles should be considered eye I do not ask for a 1000% impulse always but reasonable for out of events 4) get olives or medals !!! Really because there are people who do not have cash in $ for currency issue for example here in Venezuela we do not have $ and if there is a very but very high price that exceeds a salary is reality .... 5) True events that promo

LOL! The return of the yearly fairytales. As usual Mods are stepping in and telling nice storys about improvement and customer care. Just look back and face it. Nobody on SDEs side gives a flying whatever. That has been proven for a long time now. And even if, how in hell you think will you bring back the players you pissed off so much for nothing else than speaking out the truth? SDEs policy was and is nothing more than bring your money and shut up. Now have fun in permabanning this account as you allways do, when people say what they think.
