  • 2017 Navyfield open for suggestions~!

Merry Christmas everyone! 

At this great season, it's time to plan for the next year. TeamNF is now open for constructive suggestions that will help Navyfield to provide us fun for another 10 years. Our developers are very busy, as you know Navyfield mobile is coming out soon, so we have priorities. But we will treasure all your ideas, especially ideas in promoting Navyfield!  

A promotion campaign will be held soon, we are still drafting more details about funding and contents.  If you are able to help in any ways(ie Graphic design, video, funding, game promotion, magazine etc) You are more than welcome to join and help!  Leave your opinions below or reach me at  [email protected]    ^_^  (My email no longer accept unban/restore request for certain reasons,please send ticket with new account if you can't access your original one)  

For long term NF supporters, if you encounter problem in accessing your account or you want to justify a previous ban, please send a ticket and we will review case by case.

Great idea. Maybe have a specific night or someday that wont cause confusion. WW1 Dreadnaught battles and such.

As noted by others and responded to by SDE. However itis getting posted again. Fix the Bugs. HQ. Higher ship count in harbor. More than 50 sailors or more in the HQ.

Email people that there will be a new Nation. I know Vinn mentioned that. It was one of my ideas. That always works to bring poeple back. 

A lot of People lost accounts. Ships. Etc.  Make things that arent tradable now so that they are tradable. Not everything mind you.

14 pages of good ideas. We shall see. I am still pesimistic tho.

i ved been a cv player for 3 years and i love torping and manual dbing i like seeing ships getting torped and sunk its very satisfying to me

although we have now remodeled cvs with 15 launchable aircrafts i guess its time for us to have new kind of planes the TIER 3 planes it will be faster planes and will be fighterish planes but will have same bombs and torps since they were "too OP"  i found this suggestion and i want to apply this in 2017

since t4 fighters are out for quiet a while now, adding T3 bombers to keep some balance between fighters and bombers is a requiered next step. I know it is be a bit lame not to give exact new stats but new stats are IMO determinded by balance. maybe a 15%boost on all stats will do it and lvl 100(same as t4)  should be usefull as guideline.

It would be appreciated by all SS players if NF can look into the current policy for anti SS. 

The instant explosion of HH, wide range, level of destruction and the fact that  any ship can mount HH is clearly unfair for SS and should be adressed by NF.

According to the original SS manual by NF (I guess was done before HH and was not updated) 

2) New weapon for anti-submarine play A. Depth charges are the new weapon to NavyField to stand against submarines. It request Torpedo Man crews to use in game. B. Depth charges are used like mines but have time delay before exploding. The explosion radius is very large. C. Depth charges are created to attack Submarines but ships which are in the explosion radius also receive an amount of damage. - 11 - D. This is to prevent continuous attacks towards Submarines once one is detected. (In actual battles, if the ship which launched a Depth Charge doesn’t retreat from the area with full speed, it may receive critical damage from the Depth Charge) 

What happened to the underlined part? 

SS is being continuously attacked during battles by multiple ships at the same time.  I have returned to NF after a few years of absence. After returning I just discovered rules of combat have dramatically changed for SS. In the past, depth charges were our biggest concern while submerged and it was a fair game but now, Hedgehogs!! 

Any ship can destroy a submarine from distance as soon as you show on their sonar before you even get a chance to fire your first torpedo. 

I do not understand how NF can maintain power balance in the game if every single ship mounts HH and target SS this way. It is like allowing a destroyers to mount large caliber guns and target BBs. 


SS do not stand a chance no matter how long you crit dive they will get you and if you surface you will be fired at! HH became so widely used on every single ship and everyone has it. 

I hope NF can take this matter intoo consideration and limit use of HH to some degree.

why not a new country - nature series!

keep your nature crew level up and take ndd,ncl,nca!

make some balance parameter (fast load gun , more DP, more armor) and image a fun ship model (like parallel yamato ship?) let ppl play new style! 

and yes,you can't choose nature crew class so they will have very low attributes.and you need more more more exp/vets , i think this can take a lot olive sale ,lol. 


ok , turn about now. EBB7 can one shot any BB1-5, this is total wrong .we should make gun more spread , lower shell DMG, give ship more DP , lower speed , make more warline shot and have a fun!

I think everybody has some great ideas, however the game really needs to focus on issues at hand first and grow the community back to where it was 10 years ago. If we forget and or neglect to do this we won't have any oppurtunity for new game content. The game is barely surviving with one batle room during the weekdays at even half a room population. I mean last night i was on and 10 BBs and 3 CVs total plus or minus few other ships going into a battle that is even waiting almost full 10 minutes of the room time.

 

 

Anyways just my 2 cents that i think are key factors in the new beginnings of great beginnings.

NO NEW PLANES, NO NEW NATIONS, NO NEW SHIPS. focus on the HQ, trade, server, and crashing issues first. DO NOT put any time into developing more ships, etc.

Hello vinnson, 1.Thank you for what you guys are doing to save NF. 2.Running a game is more than passion,you will need a team. 3. More communication with players,especially with long term NF players and fleet leaders . 4.I noticed that The stock of SD ship is still ZERO.I guess fix such little things is also important. 5.May long live the NFNA. Completely abolish the existence of player Moderators. They serve no purpose except to advance their own agendas. They were, at the beginning a "voice for the players" with SDE.

It has been proven may times over during the existance of NF that over time Moderators go from "helping" players to simply banning players because they feel the need to justify their position by patrolling around looking for "Chat violations" or "Offensive ship names".

I see where a few of the "old" Ex-Mods are having their accounts restored. If NF is truly moving in a new directiion, don't go back to the "OLD" way of doing things.

Let these "has been, ban happy" Mods go by the wayside. You dont need their input of how to make things better. They are part of the reason the game was destroyed.
