Due to the following quote, I'm creating a thread to keep track of new ship suggestions. I'll be hiding posts as I add them to the main post to keep it easy to read.
I will only add to the main list that have link(s) with gun sizes and stats and a picture.
Issue 4: Ship Design Competition – Ljsevern, Fleet Leader Forum, 2 Feb:
Could we hold a ship design competition of some form and then implement it?
Answer 4: This is a very good idea. As luck would have it, we recently hired an NF graphic designer who would be able to help pick out some good ship images from the player side. We will work on setting this into motion for use in the near future.

Lets keep this to ships not already in the game people.
Remember, ships are based off Class in game, not Name.
USN: BBs: Wyoming (Add as BB1 as a side branch on the NorCal Line to be selcted instead of Nevada South Dakota (1920) < Would receive the Mark 3s, 1930's Sodak would then get its proper Mark 6 Guns and maintain its speed. Tillman Class: Second BB5? Maybe introduction of a second BB6 for each nation? Ohio (Montana Class) As BB5.5 remodel for lvl 110 guns.
CVs: Idk of any classes not already in the game that would be able to be realistically used.. SS: Too many classes not in the game to choose from. Maybe a multi-line SS nation?
UK: BBs: N3 Class Variant ( With 16" instead of 18")(As second BB5) N3 Class (With 18")(Maybe 2nd BB6?)(Would not be armored)(Would go 24/40) CVs: Idk of any more UK CV Classes. SS: Don't know enough about UK Subs.
KM: BBs: Helgoland Class (As an added BB2) H41 Class (H39 Remodel @ lvl 97) (17" Guns)(Same Range as Current H39) H42 Class (H41 Remodel @ lvl 100)(19" Guns)(Current H39 Range) H43 Class (Replacement BB5)(19" Guns with current H44 100 gun range) H44 Class (Remodel of H43, act as new BB5.5)(110 Guns changed to be 20" guns.
CVs: None I know of.
SS: Plenty of them to choose from, again multi-line sub nation?
IJN: BBs: Number 13 (As a BB4)(Would go 42 knots) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_13_class_battleship Tosa Class (As a BB3, would be the a side line, would be succeeded by Number 13 in line then lead to SY) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tosa_class_battleship "Kami no Fune" Modified Super Yamato with Triple 21" Guns with QV range as second BB6 Would have 40 degree guns and the 21" shells would only hit 90% as hard as the Amagi's so it would have less of a salvo.
CVs: More of IJN's Hybrid CVs :)
SS: Again maybe a multiline Sub Nation
MN: BBs: Maybe a modified Alsace as a second BB6. A 39 knot version with 20" triples and between Nebraska and QV range. CVs:
SS:
SN: BBs: Sovetsky Soyuz (BB4, basicly sorta like the L1 of the Soviets http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sovetsky_Soyuz_class_battleship Sovetsky Soyuz II (2nd BB6 with 20" Guns @ 40 degrees, would have between Nebby and QV range. CVs: idk
SS: idk
Italy: BBs: Idk Yet CVs: idk yet SS: Idk Yet

More CVs and SSs... Something like a light carrier and heavy carrier line... or maybe a 120 level DD and CA for professional DD or CA player?

IJN: Dream ships BB: The BB line is fine the way it is and i love how IJN is the only line with all the main BB classes built but i think you should do two things to the IJN BB line. I think you should put an upgrade that goes from Yamato to Musashi. It should be better armored faster Battleship with obviously more gun space just to make the grind to the Super Yamato more fun. In addition you should add the kaga battleship ( http://www.navypedia.org/ships/japan/jap_bb_kaga.htm ) some pics CV:Honestly Navyfield is missing a lot of carrier classes. Heres a few i would like to see in the game. THE HIYO ( http://www.wesworld.jk-clan.de/thread.php?postid=8644 ) Go to bottom of page THE SHINYO ( http://www.navypedia.org/ships/japan/jap_cv_shinyo.htm ) THE CHITOSE ( http://www.navypedia.org/ships/japan/jap_cv_chitose.htm ) THE IBUKI ( http://www.navypedia.org/ships/japan/jap_cv_ibuki.htm ) THE AKITSU MARU ( http://www.navypedia.org/ships/japan/jap_aux_akitsu_maru.htm ) and more that i could list from this link ( http://www.navypedia.org/ships/japan/jap_carriers.htm ) SS: Honestly navyfield is also missing lots of the submarine classes. Here's also a few i would like to see in game. The I-58: basically called the kaiten carrier. It should load the kaiten torpedos like an airplane on a cv but shouls also be able to load torpedos for sub to sub combat. The RO series: There are 6 variants of these subs that are different sizes. It goes from the RO-33 to 56,( The first series skips RO-50 to 54 )Theres the RO-51 and 52 the L1 version, the RO-53 to 56 which was the L2 version, then the RO-57 to 59 the L3 version, the RO-60 to 68 the L4 version,and the RO-100 variants. ( here are some pics of what the looked like : http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KezhQ6waZT0/SyNnnsDSmdI/AAAAAAAAUX8/AyxlZMErlzU/s1600-h/jap4.jpg ) The I-201: only three were completed and were designed with speed in mind even though they were large submarines. These submarines were also very advanced for there time because they ran on electricity unlike the diesel powered German subs which meant they went twice as fast. The HA-201: It is also designed with speed in mind. It was also equipped with a high power electric moter that alows it to go full speed for 55 minutes and 3 knots for 12 hours. ( A link with a few pics: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=ha-201+submarine&um=1&hl=en&safe=active&sa=N&biw=1348&bih=605&tbm=isch&tbnid=sznNmtjRVYPy8M:&imgrefurl=http://silentseawolvesmsw.devhub.com/blog/archive-201009/&docid=ulFxoXgkLdmfDM&imgurl=http://silentseawolvesmsw.devhub.com/img/upload/hmhgmcmhg.jpg&w=882&h=497&ei=vFM5T66GF-ahiAKKwuncDA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=825&vpy=303&dur=415&hovh=100&hovw=177&tx=102&ty=87&sig=114514064895603959644&page=1&tbnh=100&tbnw=177&start=0&ndsp=19&ved=1t:429,r:10,s:0&surl=1 ) The Type A: This is a sub that I would strongly like to see in the game. It is a midget sub variant and should be an upgrade from the Vickers L3 that is accesable at about lvl 60 to 70( in that range ).

I'll update this thread later this week.
Note, I'm looking for new ship classes/remods. There's several "sister ships" in game already.

===================US===================
CV: - Enterprise (CV3.5 Yorktown remod, extra launch capacity with unchanged aircraft space)
===================UK===================
CV: - Project Habakkuk II (CV6 replacement for Midway. Higher DP and defense, fatter and slower)
===================IJN=================== Due to the unique nature of IJN Shiptree (BB line can link up to CV line at the end, Ise can be remodded into hybrid CV), I'm going to make wild suggestions to make the lines even more ambiguous.
BB: - Tosa (Alternate BB3, reverse-remod of Kaga) - Amagi (Alternate BB(BC)3 just like the Tosa,, reverse-remod of Akagi)
CV: - Tone (Since even Oyodo is classified as a CV, I don't see a problem putting Tone here) - Soryu (Low-cost cosmetic remod of the Hiryu, for people who don't like the "weird" layout of Hiryu's bridge)

This is what the BB6 was based on.

Oyodo, Mogami and Ise CVs are all classed as CL, CA and BB respectively. But Adding the Tone wouldn't be hard.

I wasn't aware of their change in class due to my three-year hiatus. But at least they WERE CVs (and almost always screwed up GB balance back then)
