Due to the following quote, I'm creating a thread to keep track of new ship suggestions. I'll be hiding posts as I add them to the main post to keep it easy to read.

I will only add to the main list that have link(s) with gun sizes and stats and a picture.

Issue 4:
Ship Design Competition – Ljsevern, Fleet Leader Forum, 2 Feb:

Could we hold a ship design competition of some form and then implement it?

Answer 4: This is a very good idea. As luck would have it, we recently hired an NF graphic designer who would be able to help pick out some good ship images from the player side. We will work on setting this into motion for use in the near future.

CaptRaulDuke
RN : HMS Agincourt.
Most main battery guns of any battleship ever, 14 guns in 7 x 2gun turrets.
Fired 144 main battery shells at Jutland, must have been quite a sight.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Agincourt_(1913)

HMS Lion
This battlecruiser also fought a Jutland.
The IJN Kongo class roughly based on its design

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Lion_(1910)#Battle_of_Jutland

KM
Bayern Class Battleship
The Bayern and Baden were the Bismarck and Tirpitz of WWI.
It could be said Bismarck was basically an updated version of the Bayern Class.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayern_class_battleship

Just about any BB or BC that fought at Jutland would be interesting.

Since really BIG BBs that never were are in the game, lets go the other way, the smallest.
And these two really did exist!

USN
USS Michigan BB-27 - [South Carlina Class - 1910]
The FIRST American Dreadnaughts! 16,000 ton BB!
She was the first battleship in the world to be commissioned with superimposed, or Superfire type turrets.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Michigan_(BB-27)

SPAIN !
Espana Class battleships, the Smallest battleships ever.
15,700 tons fully loaded.
perhaps as a premium ship or top ship for a small Spanish tree.

BarracudaSp
Russian PCL: Admiral Ushakov class
(IRL it was a coastal-defence ship, but some of the already-in-game PCLs were, too.)

I know that UK already has a EBB1 but I thought of one more fit to the likes of Bogatyr, Nassau, Danton and Mikasa.
HMS Hood (1891) (Not the battlecruiser sunk by Prinz Eugen)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Hood_(1891)

It'd be cool having 2 HMS Hood's :D

JeeWeeJ
Well, my suggestion for KM would be the Ersatz Yorck (as my favorite: the Bayern class is already on the list ;))

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ersatz_Yorck_class_battlecruiser

These were supposed to be the equivalent of the British Admiral class battlecruisers (better known for the only ship of her class: HMS Hood). Fast and 8 15" guns!

Gotta love WW1 dreadnoughts. :)

Since this is a thread for "Dream Ships", how about Scheer's "Ultimate" dream ship.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L_20_%CE%B1_class_battleship

Why these where put on hold for U boats, who knows, but these would of been the best of the best out there, and would of been the Flagship of the Imperial German Navy.

2 Were designed, 0 built.

Anything from here:

http://wolfsshipyard.mystarship.com/Misc/WolfsDen/various.html

This guy has some awesome ideas for ships based off of existing ships, like fantasy remodels, and even his own unique designs.

GrieferLord
a lot of good suggestions thus far i like some of them, i COULD make a suggestion but to try and balance it would be a nightmare, but i might suggest it later it is german and quite big and from ww2 those who can figure it out get a cookie :P

if ya want to venture a guess send a PM, hmmmm a norcal with quads would they blockshot? and what would the range be like compared to the 16" guns it already gets?

Im shocked no one suggested the Eagle or furious *UK PCA remodeled as a CV* for british carriers yet! so we can make the malta the CV6 and remove the midway from british service since the malta was supposed to be a very large CV that could carry B-25's in the pacific.

CV suggestions for UK

CV1: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Eagle_%281918%29
CV2: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Furious_%2847%29
CV6 *moving from CV5-6 and removing midway as CV6*: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta_class_aircraft_carrier

Since the malta is pretty much the size of the midway anyway lol
