No way a FP lvl 75-99 can take on a 100-120, what crack are you smoking?

CV's are broken in the game since the Veteran players dominate so hard that low to mid lvl CV's stand no chance of getting decent experience or money to warrent staying as a CV player instead of a BB or SS.

AMEN! I am in basically the same boat (sorry). I only have one CV BO, I started off poorly, being new and all, and am now there with FPS spread from LVL40 to LVL 77. Trying to grind the 40s up to par my only PRAYER is locals, which are still eaten on a regular basis. For those who don't know, and maybe it truly is ignorance, locals don't have the range to "provide vision".... and at-level cannot stand up to anything close to the levels of fighters that are coming in.

You want ME to send scouts, so you can concentrate on shooting? Then SHOOT THEM WHEN YOU SEE THEM! the scout will not last long, I can almost guarantee that!

When you scream for help with incoming bombers or scouts, please don't shoot down the fighters sent to assist. Especially don't shoot them down BEFORE THEY GET THERE.

ask the cv players to play bb before they play cv, to know the importance of vision period.

AND Ask the BB players to play CV first, so they see how it is to manage a ship and 2-6 groups of planes while your teammates are screaming for vision and some hungry-hungry-hippo is eating anything and everything you put in the air.

this is what i m doing on my pcv, i have 5 fts, sending 4,4,3. while this group is out, load 6,5 and send them out while the first group is about to die.. and never recycle my planes, then 4,4,3 again, if my planes get eaten badly, i would load 4,4 for my last 2 fts, keep about 2 - 3 fts loading while you have 8-11fts out there then your team should have vision.

On my Tico I run 8 pilots, with variations of 6-1-1, or 7-1 (fighters - bombers - 120 scout). I send out 3-3-3-2 at the start ,with -2 being my scouts. I then continuously fuel up squads of 3 fighters (another 2 if the scouts go down). I am able to keep the skies lit with this combo unless I go up against another strong PCV or CV6. It is during these times when one of these good players, who have a tough battle on his /her hands, is destined to becoming a "NOOB" . I have personally seen games where a player, who hassles others, has been silenced by his team's dark skies. It leaves me to wonder if that player is suffering the wrath of his team mates in team chat !!

So thats great for you guys with PCVs, but GBs still suck horribly for us cv1-3. And the difference between low lvl BBs and low lvl CVs is that low BBs CAN ACTUALLY DO DAMAGE TO HIGHER BBs. High CVs with high FPs will own anything lower than it period, no chance to mitigate lvl difference.

To those of you ranting about dragging, it doesnt work if you have low lvl (+30 lvl difference) pilots so shaddup.

It stoll works... sort of.
If you drag enough to prove being annoying to kill higher CVs usually will give up chasing you and go for easier targets than those dragging T3s of yours.

But untill you get your T3s, you are pretty much food and there is absolutely nothing you can do about.

You see, much of the frustration of playing as a low level CV comes from the fact that T1 and T2 fighters are pretty much useless. There is no dragging that is worth at those levels, no skill is involved, pretty much you just send them and hope they will not die inmediately.
