Arcaniz

Hi guys,

To me it seems weird that there is no general guide stickied here as how to play Aircraft carriers in general and regarding all kinds of textual harrasments ingame I wonder, why not?! :P

So maybe there is an old topic that we can recover, or put some effort in it with several people?

Arc.

Edit1:
Flagellant provided us with a thread from the old forums. It encorporates control mechanisms for your pilots, fight, fly and bombing tactics.
https://fm.en.navyfield.com/Community/Forum/Old/View.aspx?num=101313&searchtype=2&searchvalue=ayeaye&sort=6&category=D07&thread=20&page=1

By understanding basic mechanis of planes and using your aircraft carrier in general it is time to adapt this knowledge to a form that suits you best. It is time to pick yourself a nation.

Each nation has its own stats, sailor types and different sets of planes.
I will add more of this shortly.

THERE you are correct...

Please refer to the appropriate guides. Apparently, you have lots of misconceptions to get out of your head.

?How is my conceptions about the Average & Ratio Mathematics is wrong?

Maybe, I am just using the wrong terminology for describing the Mathematical Calculation System.

Your terminology is not conventional but understandable. Your conceptions are still wrong.

 1. Abilities are not averaged among pilots. A squad of planes launched by pilots with no experts and vets will perform worse than a wave launched by one that has many experts and vets.

2. Each pilot type only checks his corresponding ability to determine how well he performs.
Aircraft affects a scout's attack and defense
Fighter affects a fighter's attack and defense
Bomber affects a bomber's attack and defense
All other abilities are ignored (including potential). They also do not contribute to anything else in the ship including potential, engine, gun accuracy, etc.The only universal abilities are repair and restore which are relevant on all sailors.

A man like your, quenirland, probably understands the scientific method. Humor yourself with an experiment. To prove I'm not having diarrhea at the mouth, put one gunner on a ship, fire and time the reload. Then put 6 more gunners on board and time the reload. Then repeat the process several times, average, ignore human error , and tell me what you find.

ISSUE #1

I never did say, or hint at, that Rookies & Experts & Veterans of Non-Active Sailors contributed to Average Mathematics of Active Sailors' Skills.

Active Sailor = The Sailor that the Game System is Calculating

- Bow Gunner is the Active Sailor for calculating the Bow R-Mount's Accuracy & Reload & other calculations.
- Scout Pilot is the Active Sailor for Scout Plane Calculations for the Scout Plane/s assigned to that Scoiut Sailor.
- - Scout Pilot #1 controls Squadron #1 : Scout Pilot #2 controls Squadron #2.
- - - Scout Pilot #1 is the Active Sailor for Squadron #1; and, is a Contributing Sailor for Squadron #2.
- - - Scout Pilot #1 Rookies & Experts & Veterans contribute to the AIRPLANE Attribute of the Scout Pilot #1 only when Scout #1 is the Active Sailor.
- - - Scout Pilot #1 Rookies & Expert & Veterans don't contribute to the Scout Pilot #2 AIRCRAFT Attribute when Scout Pilot #2 is a Contributing Sailor to Scout Pilot #1.
- - - Scout Pilot #2 Rookies & Experts & Veterans do contribute to Scout Pilot #2 AIRCRAFT Attribute when Scout Pilot #2 is the Active Sailor.

Active Sailor = The Sailor that the Game System is Calculating

"Active Sailor" is my terminology for this Posting only.

ISSUE #2
I never did say, or hint at, that the POTENTIAL Attribute contributed to the In-Game Battlefield Gameplay Mechanics in any of my Postings.

So wrong.  Don't take the term potential so literally.  It's just a wording that was used and has nothing to do with leveling or attributes.  It's the general ability that becomes used by sailors such as planesma, sonar, and Bridge officers.  If you can't get that through your thick head you might as well quit.

I don't take the term literally...That had been my understanding of the Navy Field Gaming Mechanics before I began playing Navy Field those many years ago.

I'll say it again.  Just because you think something should be a certain way - it doesn't make it part of Navy Field Gaming Mechanics.  I can only conclude that you are the one coming up with these theories because there are no guides or posts regarding things such as " POTENTIAL Attribute and Sailor Leveling Mechanics."

you're right , most people think only lvl -ing , when the important thing is team play .that serves him gain as much experience and go fast ??. if you do not help your team .

some have not learned to use the manual only to gather their squads.

Fighter Whore CVs are losers...

They are incapable of sinking Enemy Ships which CVs need to be doing in the last 5 minutes of Gameplay.

Wrong.

If CVs have to sink enemy ships in the last minutes of gameplay, that means their team's BBs have failed.

Man, you don't realise that you're trying the patience of a number of people here...

That's Right...and only the CV TBs & DBs have the Attack Range to Damage BBs.

FFs & DDs & CLs that do charge an Enemy BB, when they have no BB Support, will get blown out of the water before they can Attack the Enemy BB.

Thus...FW CVs are Losers.

I have already been in at least a half-dozen Battles with a FW CV as a Teammate; and, the Team lost the Battle; because, the FW CV wasn't able to attack BBs with TBs or DBs. ... and ... watching 12-Plane Fighter Squadrons Kamikazi themselves into the ocean because there were no Enemy Aircraft to fight against.

You are entitled to your opinion but saying things like that makes you sound ignorant and foolish.

Tell my why then all competitive fleets value fighter carriers in harbor assaults fleet wars? And by the way I play a fighter only carrier and I find your statement insulting.

Leave him be - everybody knows he hasn't got a clue. The only reason some people are posting here in response to his gibberish is that they don't want new players to get wrong ideas.
