Sylver, line up parallel W-E or E-W with vanny Vs. Iowa. park them directly across from
each other. The Iowa will be able to hit the vanny and the vanny will not be able to hit
the iowa. Your SS's are wrong.

The Vanguard is broken FACT!!!!

It's known by many that it is and if you had played pre-vanny you would know. the
ship needs crew in the 100's to be anywhere near playable.

Maybe tests to see damage output for a Vanny hitting a H39, iowa and Yammy and
both hitting the vanny and I think you'll see the damage done.

I dont read the stats on the gun pages they aren't 100% accurate and you see the
difference in game.

If the ship was as good as you make out then why do you not see many of them
ingame?

Did you ever even tested the range of VANNY?
I did, in the leage these were one of the test we made. Vanny has Yamato range.
Iowa has slightly less then Yamato and sligly more then L1.

I would put the pic with the range diffrences, but am selfish, so get informed better
and do the range tests yourself.

btw, the H39 had difrent ranges for the inner guns and outer gunshad diffrent
ranges(weird, I know), the inner had yamato/vanny range and the outer guns had
montana range.

In damage, don't confuse caliber and bigger explosion grafic with "more damage".
AGAIN Vanny has slightly more damge then H39.

One question....Do you have H39 and Vanny? If you do, I suggest you make the
required test looking at the damage per shell and testing these with a fleetmate.

Dude, get your facts straight. Vanny has less range than Iowa/Yamato and hits for less
damage per salvo than H39. It has equal speed to Iowa, yammy, H39 and cannot carry aa to
speak of.

In short, you're wrong from the start... thus, your argument is invalid.

jeez isn't the UK line strong enough with the L2? Isn't it worth it grinding your way to
L2?...try the H39 for a change. Atleast with this version of the H39, you grind your
way
to a great ship, unlike the H39. L2>>>>>>>H44.

The calibers aka larger guns means NOTHING against armor. The are only two things
that are a factor. 1) shell damage 2) angle
higher of both means better performance against armor.

Why do you think Yamato's, L2's and Montana's don't need to use AP at max angle
and H44 doesn't? simple, H44 has low angle and low shell damage while L2's has the
highest, then yamato then montana then alsace. btw, alsace has 18.9" guns and
believe me, alsace's HE does nothing against AW L2.

The vanny has slightly more range then Iowa and about the same as yamato. since it
has better repair, and actually has better spread and firepower then H39, it's only
fair for it to has slightly less range then H39.

The turning rate is fine, all 4 gunned BB's seems to give the illusion that they have
bad turning rate. The reason is simple, those ships are longer then others. longer
ships means longer "behind" when turning. H44 for example has the same turning
rate as L2, monty, alsace and yamato. yet it SEEMS as if it has less. you can look at
these spec's everytime you buy a new ship.

I play both Vanny and L1 at lvl....I must say L1 is way beter....

all thoe I have to add Vanny can do fine vs all ships except BB5+ lol
it's just to freaking squashy for a UK ship....however if your planing your 2nd BB
nation and decide for KM...Vanny is a good practise ship...all so I finde Vanny way
cooler looking then L1 :p.

I have to agree I have and still always play Vanny I never really bring out my L2. I
dont know what it is but I like the ship.

I would have prefered the Vanny to have been left as it was before the patch and
just given the range increase it needed.

Now in order to use the ship you do really need crew well into their 100's to make it
semi playable.

Its still a fine ship to use and you dont see many of them around these days. its a
broken ship and there now seems no end to get it fixed.

Time has passed, more people gained bigger ships and it's time to weight the not so much
vangod again.

When I used it to get L2, there were way less BB45 in GB. Today you have 2-3 ships smaller
than BB4 and the rest is BB45. Not really a "friendly" environment for ship with hitting
power of BB2. While I chose Vanguard when it was "still BB3", I'd most likely choose a L1
today.
