I'm sorry but the old Vanguard needs to be returned along with the new post patch
range then it would be classed as a BB4 not a 3.5.

Needing 3/4+ engins to reach its original speed cap is stupid and the crap turning
force now in place.

The ship was originally classed as a BB3.5 and the only adjustment needed was the
range increase that it has now. Obst and team glazed over the Vanny with technical
info that this ship would come out the other side much much better and be equal to
BB4's when infact it wasn't.

They made the level higher, the ship slower at level, made the turning force much
slower.

They increased the range by a little amount which is not really worth the slow
reload, bad spread and low damage.

Having played on AZ for best part of about 3 years and about 6/7 months on NY I
haven't seen many new Vanny ships about compared to prepatch which is a shame I
usually tend to find myself the only vanny in games 70% of the time

you are not. 38 knts is NOT a speedcap.

120 gunners the shell can land full ship widths away from where the previous salvo fell.
This combined with -really- weak shell (even compared to H39) makes the vanny a bit weaker
than it should be."

Proof=where?

My lvl 120 gunners fire onto pretty much the same spot each salvo...

honestly, unless you are a long ship, you shouldn't be carrying so much bulge that it
will slow u down

200 bulge is overkilled no matter how long you think your ship is.
Haven't you heard of dodging torpedoes?
Unless you like to Fictory and charge thru kita alley at the beginning of the game, I
seriously dunno how those 200 bulge will pay for themselves.

In regards to pre-patch Vanny as BB3.5. That was a stupid concept to bump that ship to a
BB3.5. Honestly, what the hell is a BB3.5 other than an OP BB3? Anyone? No? It was
really just the pressure of the time to squeeze Van into BB1-3 rooms because it was so
underpowered as a "BB4" due to its lvl83 requirement.

And as for trying to defend having 200 buldge and still whine about Van speed sucking.
Honestly, that is bizarre.

Anyway the vanguard, At-level is worse than the H39 at-level

its slow (engies arnt good enough), you cant chase, run. and even the new range andavntage
doesnt make make a difference cus of the crappy spread and low damage
oh and reload smells worse than fox poop

if your going UK line for the first time, just get the L1 cus its beats the vanny so much

Why would I run Vanny with 30 bulge?

Stick 200 on that and see your speed drop top that with slow RLD, crap spread it
might as well be at bb3.5 stage still.

I did better when it was at 3.5
