A massively multiplayer tactical simulation game.

In WWII CVs were the main offensive power, of any tactical group. All other ships had a defensive role, even BBs. If they lost the CV they were fish in a barrel. AA played a VERY important role.

Now don't you feel stupid for linking and justifying how NF is played with what SDE describe this game as.

Simulation in the weakest sense that it is of WW2 and has WW2 based ships.

Thats it. NF does NOT simulate real life naval war due to keeping things simple for the fact its a game.

Yes I do V2Cx, those were the days of non shared exp, and decent play/fun :) 

EACH and EVERY component played an integral role....
as so many have stated....it was TEAMWORK....simple as that...
each unit has its own particular and specific role...

lets keep that in mind and play as a team, rather than playing against teammates

Dont hurt your team and you wont get flamed. If you play bomber only then expect to get flak from your teamates. How hard is it to use a couple of fighter pilots even if you are mainly bombing? CVs without fighters and their teams are at a huge disadvantage when the other side has fighter heavy CVs.

Sadness is the only thing i feel when confronted with your attitude fueled attempt at a logical argument.

Come on, tell me I'm not right, and tell me how I am wrong, and how this game simulates naval war?

For one thing I can tell you it doesn't, because CVs would be much more of an aggressive threat than they currently are atm, and BBs wouldnt be as much of a mainstay of the current team aggressor as they are atm.

Seconded by the fact there is more BBs than CVs on one team/battlegroup.
Thirded by the fact ships are incorrect in all their ingame values ie: a single shell from an 8inch gun will NEVER 1shot a BC no matter how many times you shoot at it. Enterprise could launch more than its ingame counterpart does.
IIRC Ju52s were NEVER a db...

IRL naval warfare was done by teamwork.
Now its all memememe even though its a shared exp environment which indicates it supposed to be a teamplay effort.

Look up the definition of simulation. Look up the definition or replica. Apply.

You can't tell me that the majority of CVs ( 2 gold bar and under) that launch all there dbs on one pilot then fly them into a wave of enemy fighters are pulling their weight. Sure it would be tolerable if this rarely happend, but the Majority of CVs suck, the Majority of the time. When the sucking stops, the bashing stops.
