im currently lvling a crew on a CV (BW)...and in almost every game someone is making derogatory comments....telling CV how to play...

i.e. ....
VISION !!!!!!!
NEED FC !!!!
etc.

i contribute to the game as much as i can,,,usually sinking 1 or 2 ships per battle (average),and consistently rank in top 5 in attack.

and yet, still am the recipient of remarks.
if a BB wants vision......use your scout.
i  just wish ppl would be mature enough to realize that every player has their own style of play.

my job is to sink ships...as everyone elses is, but its hard to do when, the majority are going after BB and ignoring AA.

i just wanted to get this out there...comments are always appreciated

The more things change the more they stay the same.  I've been away for quite some time. I come back and the first item I read, is an item that was "old" 3 years ago.  WOW!!!!

I think it's more "some things never change". Chief amongst that is the ever-present conflict between CV players and BB players. "Vision!", doth cry one. "AA!" cometh the reply.

Locals are good to use when you are facing higher tier, fighter focused CVs.  T1s and T2s are pretty ineffective in battles like that.

But locals aren't a good counter to BW CVs.  They don't have the fuel to patrol out ahead of the BBs, and spend a lot of time launching and getting to the BB line. T1s and T2s are pretty good at shooting down flights of bombers.  And remember that a CV using locals has to depend on others to spot incoming bomber flights... So we've probably gone full circle

Depends how you go about it, I reckon. Four fighter pilots, have two up and two loading, rotate them constantly. It's worth sacrificing two LFP if it means they stay out and take out a wave of bombers. LFP and smaller CV means you gotta stay closer behind the BB line, to reduce travel time. Since you're the smaller CV, you'd usually pair up with one of the larger ones. Enough CVs per side in a GB to make sure that there's something high level enough to push some scouts or fighters out.

and for clarification that screenie is relevant due to the fact your launching 9 off of 1 pilot....

Introduce the max plance per pilot cap already. This is as ridiculous as a Kaiser mounting 11".

i dont care if you set back and BW but if you do that get up to the battle line like the BB's and fight dont use  BB's as a meat shield ,so when i cant see because the other team cv is a FW cv.
Because if i cant see i am coming back there with you and get behind you and use you as a meatshield. That way i dont have a problem at all. :)

Well, in my opinion a player can play whatever style they like; if you are in a fleet, then you can talk to them about playing a certain style that you want them to play.

When I play my CV, my goal is to conquor the skies; it's true there are time that even though I light up the seas for the BBs they are incompetent and can't hit anything; but on average, it usually ends up as a win.

The game is about having fun...if the CV player finds it more fun to send bombers, then that's up to him.  If you are not having fun because you can't see and your scouts (if you have them) are always shot down...then play a CV and show them how it's done, but don't tell them how to play.

I know it can get frustrating as a BB player when you can see anything an your scout always gets AA'd out of the sky or nailed by fighters (I get a lot of that too), but cursing a CV player makes NF a bad playing environment and this game doesn't need more bad air around.

Still...if you are a CV player, you may as well get use to it; BBs complaining about CVs will probably always be there. Ignore them and play the style that makes it fun for you.  As time passes, you may grow out of that stage and play for a team goal.
